8hr. prepping, fitting, welding, and testing of a weldment based on a drawing. This course expands upon knowledge and skills learned in welding introductory level courses.
4hr. This course covers the ins and outs of welding in a mirror. You can't always expect to have direct line of sight on a joint. That doesn't change the inspection standards. The whole joint has to meet the requirements, even if it's in a restrictive position. The techniques demonstrated and applied in this course will take even an experienced welder "level up".
This will allow us to provide employers with an additional avenue to qualify their workforce with the requisite qualifications needed to provide welding services on U.S. Navy assets. We're looking to leverage our staff's unique knowledge of NAVSEA welding standards to bolster our region's maritime industrial base (MIB).
Contact us to arrange a meeting to discuss what you need and how we can support your endeavor. Be prepared to provide information on base material type, form/shape, welding process specifics, thickness, position(s), and fabrication standard.
